Yay, Taylor was home this weekend!!!! Makya has been looking forward to seeing her for several weeks now. Kya stayed the whole weekend with my dad and Taylor. For the past few weeks Makya would ask every weekend if that was the weekend Aunt Tay Tay is coming home. Friday, we met up with my dad and Taylor and enjoyed a nice dinner at the Cadillac Bar. Saturday, my dad took Taylor and Kya to the fair and they were there all day! While they were at the fair, Matt and I took Kadyn to the Midlothian Fall Festival. We met up with Lisa and Trisha for a bit. It was so nice to see them. It's been a few years since I've seen Trisha so it was great to catch up a little with her. Afterwards, we met up with Matt's mom, Janette, and had dinner. Then today, my dad's side of the family all came over to my house to spend some time with Taylor before she went back to St. Luis. We had an awesome time. I love spending time with family. After today we have dates to celebrate the upcoming birthdays, clean out Granny's storage and the times for the Holiday's. That will save of us tons of future emails back and forth:)
Oh big news...Makya has her first loose tooth!!! I can't believe it! My baby is starting to lose her teeth.

Dance Extravaganza. Six Flags and Mom's Birthday
Matt and I signed Makya up to perform with the Pantherettes for the Ocober 10th game. She did awesome and we had so much fun watching her. All her grandparents came out to cheer her on.
Saturday night my mom and I took the kids to Six Flags. Kadyn is finally tall enough to ride the majority of the rides in Tiny Toon Land, YAY!! He loves riding the rides. He wanted to ride the Texas Giant, ha! I swear that child has no fear. Makya rode her first "real" roller coaster, the Mini Mine Train.
She kept her hands up the whole time. Afterwards she said she didn't want to ride it again because she thought she was going to throw up...my little drama queen:) Sunday, all the girls took my mom out to the Arboretum for a birthday picnic.
Sam brought the croissant Sandwiches, I brought homemaid potato salad and drinks, Lacey brought the chips and the homemaid chocolate cupcakes, yummo! The kids had a great time playing in the pumpkin patch. We all had a wonderful day!

Party, Party, Party!!!
This past weekend was full of parties. Friday night Susan and Warren invited us over for a delicious dinner. Susan, aka Martha, is an awesome cook. I love it when she invites us over for dinner:) After dinner, Kellie and Adam joined in on the fun. We had such a great time. Saturday, we had a soccer game and three birthday parties!! Let's just say we were running 30 minutes late to each birthday party. They were all so much fun. Sunday, we were worn out!
We basically laid around all morning. Later in the afternoon the kids jumped on the trampoline for a bit and then we walked to the park. It was such a nice relaxing day!
The Fair
A week ago we went to the fair with my dad and had a blast. This was the first year that Kadyn was old enough to have a good time and boy did he ever. He was all over the place. He wanted to ride every single ride, play every game, sit in every car, watch every show, pet every animal...man, he wore us out! Kya is a little older so all she cared about was the rides and games. Good times! Can't wait to go back next year!!!

Wedding Festivites!!!
Oh boy, what a weekend! My weekend actually started Thursday night. After soccer practice, I went to Faira's to help her do some last minute wedding chores. Thank goodness I did, because the programs were not done and still needed to be printed. It took us a while to figure it out but we eventually got the hang of it. Unfortunately, the more we did the more the printer was acting up. We stopped a little after midnight and decided to try it again in the morning. Friday, I took Makya to school and watched their Teddy Bear parade.
It was Pajama and Teddy Bear Day for the Kindergartner's. When I got home, I packed my bag and the kid's bag for Saturday night and off I went to Faira's. The printer once again had a mind of it's own. I had to leave Andrew with his mom and step mother to finish up. It was getting late and I had to pick Makya up from school and head out to Dallas for our girls (plus Kadyn)lunch and pick up my dress.
For lunch we went to Frankie's Bar and Grill and then later checked into the hotel and changed for rehearsal. After rehearsal we went to Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner. Faira had bags made with our names on them for our gift. I love it! You can never have too many bags.
She gave the flower girls a necklace with their initial, earrings, a ring and a little pouch with their name on it. Kadyn's gift hasn't came in yet so I'm not sure what that is yet. After the dinner all of us girls went back to the hotel for some girl time. We had a blast! It was just like old times. Saturday, we woke up early and went to Breadwinners for breakfast and had frozen mimosas, mmmm good!!! Afterwards, Susan and I went back to her house and relaxed until it was time to be at the facility. The wedding was supposed to be outside but for obvious reasons we had to bring it inside.
Besides that, the wedding went so smoothly. Faira was a beautiful bride and the wedding was amazing. Makya is a pro at being a flower girl, but this was the first time Kadyn has ever been in a wedding and I do have to say, he did awesome! He held my hand and the other hand was in his pocket, like a little GQ model. Since the Reception was for adults only Janette came to pick the kids up after pictures.
It was nice that Matt and I could enjoy the evening without chasing the kids around. Sunday, I had to deliver all of Faira's wedding stuff and then relaxed the rest of the day. I think we were all exhausted from the weekend. I'm hoping we will have a laid back weekend very soon.

This weekend was yet another busy weekend. Friday was relatively low key. We went to Home Depot to buy stain for our fence as well as some other small stuff. While we were there, I ran into a friend that I was in school with from Kindergarten until the day we graduated. We even went to the same daycare.
I love running into old friends. Anyway, we went to bed early because Makya had a 9:00 game in the morning. Saturday, Matt and I got up extra early to clean before the game. My plan was to steam clean the carpet right before we left for the game so it can dry while we were at the game. To my amazement, it happened just as I had planned. I couldn't believe it!! It felt good to have such a productive morning and still make it on time for the game. Speaking of the game, it was awesome! This is the second season for the Pink Panthers to play together, and they are definitely getting the hang of it. Last season, I'm pretty sure we came in last place, but Saturday we kicked some tail. All the girls scored at least one goal. They were so proud of themselves, not too mention, the parents were too. After the game, we went to an early lunch with Janette (Matt's Mom), Michael, Kellie and the girls.
Adi (our niece) had her first game as a cheerleader and looked so cute!!! I can't wait for next year so Makya will finally be old enough to cheer. Once lunch was over the kids and I went and picked up my mom for a fun filled day of wedding shopping. I needed to buy Makya shoes for her flower girl dress and Kadyn a tux and shoes. Kadyn HATED his tux. He did not like it at all, but he was still the cutest little boy
ever! Later, that night we went to dinner with my dad and sisters for my little sister Taylor's birthday. She turned 11. Taylor is moving next weekend to St. Louis with her mom and her new husband. It still hasn't hit me. I'm not sure how to take it. I know Makya is going to be crushed. She thinks of her as her big sister.
They stay the night with eachother at least twice a month. Okay, now that I'm on the verge of crying, let's move on. Sunday, I was basically in the car all morning. First, I picked Matt up from his mom's house (he has been painting her house), the next stop was to Grand Prairie to scoop up Sam and baby Felipe, then to Dallas to pick Kya up from my Dad's house. Once the car was loaded we headed out to North Garland to my sister Lacey's house for lunch.
She made the best taco salad. Us girls played Phase 10, the boys watched the game and the kids played with the train track and watched Spongebob. We had a fun relaxing time. On the way home the kids passed out. Makya must have stayed up late with Aunt Tay Tay the night before because she didn't wake up until I woke her up the next morning at 6:45am!
This week I'm going to be finishing up preparing for Faira's BIG day on Saturday. I can't wait it's going to be a blast!!
